Raul Roman
Raul Roman is a Research
Associate at the Center for Internet Studies, University of
Washington, Seattle, where he conducts research on the uses
and effects of information technology on socioeconomic
development. He has conducted field research in several
countries of Asia, Africa, and Latin America. His work has
been published in The Information Society, Information
Technology and International Development, The Communication
Yearbook, Information Technology for Development, The Journal
of Development Communication, and others. He obtained his MS
and PhD degrees in Communication and International Development
from Cornell University.
