Running ChartMap
ChartMap is a small ‘stand-alone’ Windows utility for Flight Simulators allowing
a number of airport charts to be stored and available on screen whilst still
flying.
The use of the program is very simple and intuitive.
You insert only the airport name and the program will show all the data stored.
The program can create new airport charts and it is
possible to print all procedure charts.
The official language is Italian and English.
The program is possible to download in two different
mode (with setup, big file or without setup but
in this case you must have the runtime library for Visual Basic 6).
If you choose the first
mode, simply unzip the file ChartMap.zip
into a temporary directory and run the Setup.exe programme. During the
Setup you can choose the directory in which you wish to install Chartmap or choose the default provided.
If you choice the second mode, unzip the files and
will automatically create all directories and subdirectories.
After the Setup has finished, you will find the
application within your Windows [Start][Programs]
list. Simply start the programme in the normal way. Once started the screen below will be displayed.
As you can see is possible to print this data and the

and you can to put into proportion that you want.
You can choice any procedure when do you want during
the flight.
ChartMap will remain ‘on top’ of your simulator, even if
you click back within the Flight Sim window.
This is done on purpose so that charts can remain viewable, and radios / VOR
frequencies etc. changed whilst viewing the chart.
If you want to insert an airport

If you press OK you must insert the data in the next
form and at the end save all.

screen capture or downloading from Flight
Simulator website and save accordingly as a .gif.
